I just created a short course in Rise. The last page of the course is a link for the learner to go to the live environment and do what they just learned. I'd like to make that page optional as far as giving the learner completion credit for the course. The course involves approving invoices. If they don't have any to approve, they don't need to go to the live environment start approving. I added it for convenience only. Perhaps there's a better way?
Your learners will receive credit for the last page (or lesson) as soon as they scroll to the bottom of the page, no matter if they click the link to the live environment or not.
You could also change the completion percentage in the Export settings. For example, if you have 5 lessons (20% each), change the completion percentage to 80%.
Good to know on the navigation. I thought about changing the completion percentage but, if I do that, there's nothing to ensure they don't skip one of the other pages and do the last one and still get the 80% correct?

Let me know if that helps!

Hi Carla,
You can prevent learners from skipping a lesson by using Restricted Navigation instead of Free Navigation.
