Ah, I see! It sounds like you'd like to see more font customization options--I will definitely pass that along to my team! Thanks for reaching out, and let us know if you have any further questions. ☺️
I'd like to request this also. I have a training called "Reasonable Accommodation" and the title looks great when you start. But when the title moves to the sidebar, it looks like this. These are two large words and it's adding the last letter of Accommodation to the 3rd line. Is there any way around this? I can't rename the title because this is a legal term and the name of the course.
We previously had an issue with the Rise titles not wrapping correctly, but this should be fixed. Can you let me know what browser you're authoring Rise in, and what browsers/devices you're viewing the output in?
I use Chrome by default. I checked in IE and it looks fine there. I developed this months ago and put it on hold. Now I'm working on it again but I may have to scrap it since Rise isn't 508 compliant.
So it looks like the problem is with Chrome browsers. I'm using Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit). I was using the 32 bit version until just recently.
Did you export this Rise course some time ago, or are you using the Share link to view it? If it's an exported version, I'd look at exporting it again to see if the same occurs (definitely clear your browser cache and/or test it within a new browser or incognito mode).
I regularly clear my cache and this error persists after 6 months. I exported again to test and it persists in Chrome. It works fine in IE 11.
I even tried it in incognito mode, and the error persists in Chrome. Is anyone else having this problem?
I even created a new Rise course and named it ReallyLongCourseTitle in case mine is corrupt somehow. The error persists in Chrome and IE. Granted, most words aren't 21 characters (unless your're German!) but I wanted an extreme test to see what would happen.
Hi there, Dave. I can see what you're saying. In my course, when the title font size should be scaling down another notch based on the browser width, it bumps the last letter down. It will stay that way until I really shrink the width a bit more, and then the font size shrinks. You can see my example here.
I'll re-introduce this to our team to see if we can figure out what's happening. I'll be sure to update this thread with any new info! Thanks a bunch for pointing this out.
Not sure if this is a related error or not, but shouldn't section and lesson titles be consistently wrapping on my admin view in the main course outline page? Attaching two screenshots from the same course, one long lesson title is wrapping, and the other cuts off.
Are you only seeing this while editing? I just tested on a Rise course I had handy and everything seemed to be wrapping normally. Does it wrap normally while previewing or viewing from the Share link?
I didn't notice a section title in your screenshot though? It appeared to only be the title of the lesson you were using.
Are you able to re-create this error Kelly-Anne or is it with a particular lesson type? I just updated a course with 9 lessons and did not have any trouble with wrapping titles.
Hi Ashley, sorry for the delayed reply, I didn't get an email notification of your reply like normal. It's just happening on the admin/editing view. They wrap normally and show the whole title on the student side.
Hi Leslie, sorry for the delayed reply, I didn't get an email notification of your reply like normal. This appears multiple times throughout my courses with the blocks lesson type, sometimes it wraps on the admin/editing side and sometimes it doesn't. I just went in and added a test lesson with a long title and it didn't wrap.
I also tested a long title on a Rise course main page, and the text wrapped correctly for me. What web browser were you using when you noticed the title wasn't wrapping?
I don't see any rhyme or reason to which ones do and which ones don't. This is over multiple courses, I believe all are block lesson types. Probably a mix of typing and copy paste. When I tried to recreate yesterday and it didn't wrap I had typed in the title.
I've been testing this over and over, and I finally was able to recreate the problem you're seeing. I'm not sure why I wasn't seeing it before, but it's definitely happening now. Here's a screen recording of the behavior.
I'm going to bring this to my team so we can begin looking at next steps. As soon as we find a solution, I'll pop back in to let you know!
Hi everyone! I wanted to close the loop on this discussion — we're no longer seeing an issue where long lesson titles in Rise 360 aren't wrapping correctly.
If you're still having trouble with this, please share a screenshot so we can take a closer look!
Hello. I'm currently experiencing this wrapping issue. I'm running in the most updated version of Chrome on Windows 10. I've cleared my cache, but it does not resolve the issue. What other information can I provide to your team to help troubleshoot this issue? Thanks!

Hi Anmol,
Font size is fixed in Rise. Can you tell me more about what you had in mind with changing the font size? Are you looking to emphasize some text?
NO , i want to decrease the size of some text but there is no option for this.

Hmmm, I still cannot re-create this.
I'd be happy to take another look. I can see it in your image, and I'm sure it's frustrating Kelly-Anne.
Hi Kelly-Anne!

Hi Alyssa, I noticed it in firefox(latest version), but I checked chrome and they aren't wrapping in there either.
