Checked courses been unchecked

Dec 21, 2018

Hi again, I have a little problem, I upload some rise courses in an online academic enviroment named blackboard and when I revisit the courses uploaded there they are all unchecked, I would like to know if there are anything I do to fix this or if it is an error from the enviroment

Hi Daniel. Many of our customers successfully use Rise with Blackboard. I took a look around the forums here and I'm not seeing any similar issues with previously completed courses showing unchecked which leads me to think it's possibly a setting in the Blackboard platform. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the Blackboard environment so I can't give you specific guidance. I would contact either the Blackboard LMS administrator on your end (assuming that's not you!) or Blackboard's customer service team to see if there's a setting you can use to control this.

If you track down an answer, I hope you'll reply here with your findings. I'm sure others would love to know.

Hi again, so... we contacted Blackboard's Customer Service, tried to  change the settings at the platform, but the problem still continues, we check our courses, everything goes fine but when we quit and open the course again nothing is checked(as it goes on the attachments), are you sure there isn't a setting on rise that we're missing or some sort of specific way to export our courses that we need for them to be fully functional on other plataforms? I'm just really confused, nothing alike have ever shown up to us

Hi Daniel,

Did you try uploading your course to SCORM Cloud to see if you experience the same behavior?

That's what we generally recommend doing to determine whether the problem stems from the course or the LMS. Here's an article that walks you through how to do that.

If it works correctly on SCORM Cloud, then the problem is coming from the LMS and you'll need to talk to your provider.

If you see the same issue on SCORM Cloud, then the problem is likely coming from the course itself. If that's the case, please reach out to our support team.
