Clickable Phone Numbers in Rise
Oct 22, 2018
I'm creating a mobile-first learning environment in Rise and want to create a Contacts page that includes email and phone. I've used the button stack option for email, but to sell the client on this type of content, it'd be great to have a clickable phone number automatically launch a call when clicked. So far, I'm not having any success. A Storyline block isn't an option since it's a bit clunky in a mobile interface (takes users to a new tab, no obvious path back to Rise) and we'd like to keep things as simple as possible. Has anyone else tried this or been able to make it work?

Hi Leilani,
I haven't seen this done in Rise yet, but I know a few folks have asked about doing similar in Storyline. It's dependent on the browser allowing the phone number to be clickable, but you may also want to look at this Storyline discussion for inspiration (and if you're able to use the Storyline block)!
I was wondering if this topic has gotten any further progression. Within the mobile app (Ex. Litmos LMS App), but using Rise 360 to create a Scorm 1.2 file. Then attached as a course in Litmos. As mentioned above I would like to have the phone number clickable,... any way as of yet to have that happen native or some other way?
Hi Jeff,
Right now, there isn’t a way to do that in Rise 360. Would you be up for logging a feature request to tell us more about your specific needs?
In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
Sure, happy to do it. Thank you

Hello - Is there any progress on this feature request?
Hello, Jessie! Thanks for following up on this feature request. We don't have this in our roadmap right now, but we'll let you know here if anything changes!
if you could just go ahead and add that feature, that would be great
