I wonder if anyone can help? I have an employee who is leaving us soon and has created Rise modules. While I can collaborate with this user on a module, I don’t seem to have the user rights to publish the content. Is there a way to download from their account and upload into my account?
I don’t want to have to rewrite the module when it needs updating..
Try going to the course -> Settings -> Collaborators -> There should be an option to transfer ownership when hovering over the name of the owner. Click the word Transfer and select your name. You'll need to have them do this from their account.
Is it possible to have multiple people share ownership? For example, my co-worker and I both need the ability to edit settings and publish a course. How can we do this without transferring ownership back and forth?
As Broderick mentioned, this isn't currently possible but it's something we're actively working on adding. I don't have an ETA on when this feature will be available, but I'll let you know as soon as possible via this thread.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
Exciting news! We've enhanced collaboration in Rise 360. Find out about different collaborator roles here.
And this isn’t the only cool feature we released today! Check out our What’s New page for the full list. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. 🙂

You cannot both publish.

Submit a feature request and maybe articulate will eventually get around to it.

To both be able to edit: Go to the Rise Course --> Share --> Collaborators --> Invite a team member.
