Yes. There are a number of pieces that you have used in your course that I think would work for my projects. For example, what did use for the following?
1. Approach Lesson Block - How did you insert a link (to eLearning heroes) into the image?
2. Return w/elixir block - How did you embed the Demingo game?

I would love to hear a bit more details about how and when this set up would make sense for you - knowing the "why" behind it is really good information to get into the hands of our Product team so that they can ensure we're designing features to meet you needs!
I know in our organization, it's mostly that we've created years' worth of content in Storyline, and while we enjoy the Rise mLearning framework and templates, there's no way to say, import a SL file so that we can add the existing videos created in Storyline to Rise. We'd have to remake most of our content from scratch.
The investment in software, followed by the investment in massive amounts of hours to remake all of our existing content is just beyond our means right now. We have many of our MP4s available to import, but some of our most complex/important videos were created using SL timelines. To be able to take a single slide's timeline and have that video for Rise would be great.
As it stands, we'd have to use Camtasia to remake the entire vid, and honestly, SL's tools for those things are much better/more customizable.

As for designing in Rise vs. Storyline, I do think it's good to keep in mind that they're different tools and the value of Articulate 360 is that you have access to all the tools to design in the one that makes the most sense for your current course. Since Rise is a bit more light weight for design, perhaps the courses that you look at re-creating in Rise are shorter, snippets of your full blown Storyline courses? I really like this article which compares when to use what product within the Articulate 360 suite.
Also, Storyline 360 does have the new responsive player so that's been a gamer changer for HTML5 output from Storyline. This FAQ article may help clarify some of the elements of the player and how that'll work with your content.
Ashley, I hadn't seen your follow-up question (better check my notification settings!), sorry. The use-case we're thinking of is taking the interface of a proprietary mobile device on which we need to design training and make it sort of the "main menu" or hub for the entire course, linking users out to web pages, how-to's or videos (even VR?) related to that spot on the interface.
We know it's possible to do a very "basic" level of this in Rise, but it's meant for light/easy/rapid-development and Storyline has more "oomph" with fine-tuning-control of layers, triggers, states, etc.
Also, and perhaps more importantly, all of Rise's little point-and-click circles all over the mobile device's interface both make the design look kind of "hokey" and worse, they literally cover the entire interface with plus + signs (or whatever shape we'd choose). You lose the "wow factor" of seeing what a specific button on the device looks like and then actually seeing what it does when you press it virtually.
We'd like to be able to do the more involved design of that "hub" in Storyline, which (once complete) we wouldn't have to update unless the entire device is re-engineered -- and integrate it as the "core" of a Rise course, so for all of the little how-to's/link-out's, we could then take advantage of Rise's quick-and-easy capabilities to create/update quickly and easily. I would like to embed a storyline into a rise. I needed to use storyline for a drag and drop, but most of my course is in rise. In the meantime I can link.

2) How I got your name into the module is through JavaScript. I'm not sure how technical you are but the Storyline module is sitting in an iFrame inside Rise. When it loads, a JavaScript function calls the Rise framework and asks for the name you put in previously when you launched Rise. Storyline then takes that name and places it into a Storyline variable.
The other way around, you can also send a message to Rise when the Storyline is done, maybe a score or anything, so Rise can react to it. It all works via JavaScript.
Here's an examples on my blog using variables and JavaScript:
iFrame content is restricted if the domain is different in your site and the embedded site. This may or may not be your problem but browsers often block content from a different site for security reasons.
You can see the actual problem if you (using Chrome) click Control+Shift+I. And refresh. It's the developer window, showing the exact errors, not just the generic page error.
Ok, now I see the problem – the site I've tried to embed is an http, but for some reason the browser calls for an https - the secure version (see attached screenshot)

I am really enjoying Rise and embedding Storyline content is definitely at the top of my wish list!
For now, even to be able to link from an image (hotspot?) to an external site would work for me. Is this possible?
I even tried to embed a video with a hotspot to my storyline content, but it didn't work.

It's true that during the trial I didn't take the time to upload anything to see the output - only examined the interface.

I've tried using the iFrame code, it woks for some sites but not for others 😩
For instance, I've tried to embed this site:

The direct link works, but the iframe on the rise page gives an error message (see attachments) – How come? What can I do to fix this?
