I've created a course that users can navigate freely. Course is tracked using quiz results. Users should go through all lessons first, before taking the 'big bad end quiz'. This can be done by restricted navigation, but I want them to navigate the lessons freely.
I've gone through all different settings, but haven't found a way to do this. A quiz is now always part of a lesson. Is there a way to make a quiz available after lessons are completed (in the same course)?
I'm not sure what you are asking when you say that a quiz is a part of a lesson and can you place it after your lessons, because you should be able to do that for sure, but you just will not be able to mix Free/Restricted navigation.
As I mentioned above, Storyline would work great for the scenario you mention as you can set branching, variables, and triggers for the navigation.
Thanks for your reply. I'm aware of all the tools that belong to the 360 package, but I'm working with Rise, so thanks for not posting your response about Storyline ;)
I guess my question may be input for a feature request.

Hi Amy!
Great question.
I had typed up a complete response based around Storyline because it's completely possible with that software.
That being said, it reminds me that How to Choose the Right Tool for Every Job is certainly important.
Rise navigation is set for the course:
