When I create a vector image design in Adobe illustrator and upload it to Rise with the Block, Full Width Image, the image itself seems to become lower quality. It tends to show a lot in the text on the image. I was wondering if there is a way around this?
You mentioned the Block, Image and the "Banner image" - so I wanted to confirm you meant the image in this screenshot with the yellow arrow, not the green arrow?
I didn't notice the quality being off, but I don't have anything to compare it to either. You mentioned a lot of text on the image - and the text I saw seemed to be intended.
With Rise, we always want the highest quality image and Rise will compress it for the best web output. There is a bit more information about that here.
If you can share a copy of the original image, I'm happy to take a look again and compare the two!
I'm getting this too. There is a lot of noise introduced in the Rise version of the image that makes it pretty much unusable. is there an email I can send the example image to as opposed to uploading here? This happens with my uploaded .png image for both full-width and centred images.

Do you have an image that looks blurry in Rise 360? We've designed a workaround to keep your images looking crystal clear.
If you'd like an image to keep its specific file format and not undergo compression, you can opt-out of image optimization on a case-by-case basis. Add _NOPROCESS_ to the name of your image file. It'll upload and display exactly as you saved it. Keep in mind that the 5GB file size limit still applies, and you could see an increase in your output file size.
I'm having the same issue with all the photos I upload into Storyline. It compresses the file and makes the image blurry. An example is a 244kb photo as a PNG file that comes out blurry when I upload. I even added _NOPROCESS_ to the file name and still no luck.

The _noprocess_ tip mentioned above only works in Rise 360, but you can review our best practices for working with images in Storyline 360 to get the most out of your assets, including adjusting the compression settings.

I've submitted a Support Case on your behalf, and we've sent you a confirmation email message with your Case Number. Within that email message is a hyperlink where you can privately share files with us!
Using your unique hyperlink, can you please send us (1) a share link to your Rise 360 course, and (2) a copy of the original image file?
The _NOPROCESS_ suffix tells Rise 360 not to touch your image at all, so we'd love to take a closer look at what might be going on here!

I added _NOPROCESS_ to the end on the image name i.e. imagename_NOPROCESS_ and it did work. Image quality remained spot on. FYI the image itself was a PNG.

i should add the original image is only around 100KB in size so doesn't need compressing at all.
