I am creating a course in my LMS where a Rise course is only one unit out of many units. For this use case it is confusing to the user that a Rise module starts with a course intro page plus a navigation sidebar. Is there any way to disable this? Maybe hide CSS or something?
It sounds like a good feature request to allow for the menu to be disabled on a case by case basis! It's helpful to know how this would impact your course development and any other use cases for the feature.
If you're comfortable with a bit more custom work - you could look at Zsolt's example here. It's based on branching a Rise course - but allowing for the lessons or blocks that a user doesn't visit being hidden.
I second this request. When embedding Rise into an LMS, the LMS already has a menu for the course. Having a second menu looks very odd. If there were a way to disable the introduction page and menu, it would provide a much better user experience in some cases. See attached images.
I wanted to share here that you can now customize the sidebar's visibility in Rise. Check out Adam's post here for additional information and a quick video!
We hope you enjoy, and please let us know if you have any other suggestions or feedback either here or via our product feature request form here. We're all ears!
Hello Mitchell and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
That feature is not on our roadmap at this time. I know I have seen another conversation where a user wished for the Start button to be an optional feature and that is part of the introduction.
I'd encourage you to share your idea with our team here as well as your use case regarding micro learning.

+1 from me. Would love the option to hide the navigation
Thanks Lance - I've share the discussion with our team as a feature idea!
We'll keep you posted with any updates. 😀

Hello. I read the original post as including a request for the course introduction page to be disabled (set a start page). Is this being actioned?
The current set up with the course intro page makes it very difficult to create micro learning in Rise.
