How can I change the "start course" text in Rise?

We are working on a feature that will let you edit those labels. It will be available in January at the latest.

We're in the evaluation stage of that one, Monica. Nothing definite yet.

Thanks for the update re: Online.  One more question about the start course button...what are the chances that you just change it to Start?  If you did just that, i'm sure it would apply to 95% of the projects we're all working on, plus save your team some project time/energy. 

If it just said Start, I wouldn't even care about getting creative with those options.

How can I change the language settings in rise. Or is the default english the only setting?

Hey Anja - We are working on translation features for Rise, so not at this time.

We are also working on localizing the user interface for French, German and Spanish and that's expected to be released to folks in Q1 '17, so we'll keep folks posted here in the E-Learning Heroes community and on our What's New pages.

So glad this change is happening. I am hoping to use custom text in the Start Course button depending on what I am working on. I am also wondering if it is possible to remover the lesson text, e.g. lesson 1 of 5

The ability to change the text labels will encompass more than just the Start course button - such as the ability to customize the additional text such as lesson X of Y. We'll keep you posted on that change and when the feature will be available!

I don't have a firmer date on this new feature yet. It's still slated for Q1 of '17, so sometime in February or March.

Hello All!

Happy to announce that you can now customize the default text labels in Rise. This gives you the ability to make built-in course elements, such as buttons and lesson headers, say what you want them to say.
