I have created a piece in rise and distributed the link to some areas of our business. As this is sitting on your server is there any way I can track how many hits it has?
So it is sitting on the articulate server and I am distributing that link - where do I need to go to add the script? I don't have access to that html index file as I am sharing it as a link
Hi Jane - To add the tracking code, you would need to first export your Rise course (web or LMS). Currently, there's no way to track views on Rise courses hosted on Rise.Articulate.com. Keep in mind that Rise is an authoring tool that support light sharing. For tracking and viewer analytics, you'd need to move your Rise course to an LMS or web server.

Hi Matt
I have populated my analytics code for my front page in rise (see below)
Do I put this before the body text (in the attached screen shot)?
And is that it - it will now track the page?
jane
<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');
ga('create', 'UA-88844313-1', 'auto');
ga('send', 'pageview');
</script>
I am distributing by a link rather than exporting 'no LMS web only'. Can I still add the script?

It is not sitting on our server

I suppose you could use the URL/Embed pre-built lesson to pull in an external image that's tied to a tracking code on your Google account.
Hi Matt and David - thanks for your help
