Great question, Erin – and I'm excited to show you how! 🙂
Here's a quick Peek on how to include answer-based feedback text in the knowledge check block. Just a note that this feature will show the same feedback for both the correct and incorrect options.
You might also find our new enhanced feedback options for quizzes feature handy – as it will let you display specific feedback to learners depending on their answer choices.
Thanks for this! Just to be clear, the video you did for me demonstrates that if you use the Knowledge Check block, you CAN'T offer separate feedback based on which answer they selected, right?
Thanks for the info on the Quiz option. (Unfortunately it won't work for this particular purpose, as this is just a pre-cursory question to a lesson) but I will definitely use it going forward.
My pleasure, Erin – and you are correct! It's a great opportunity to let your learners know what the correct answer is and why.
We are tracking requests for choice-level feedback in the knowledge check block, though. I'll tag this discussion, so we can give you updates about that request!
You can use a paragraph block for your question and a button stack for the answers. Each button can loop to a different answer or send the learner to review the material.
