Labeled Graphic Text Boxes

Jan 23, 2017

I'm working on a project in Rise and I would like to make the text boxes that appear on the labeled graphic a little larger so that folks don't have to scroll. Is there any way to do this?

Hi Mary,

The size of the text boxes are based on your overall image width. So if you were to insert a wider image the accompanying text box pop up would also be wider (same if you were to insert a thinner image).

So that would be one way that you could look at changing the amount of text shown and the scroll bar - by adding some additional white space on the sides of your image and make it a bit wider and then your markers will follow suit.

It's also something I'd suggest sharing your thoughts on in the form of a feature request as those go to our Product development team. Any screenshots would also help showcase the amount you'd like to widen it.

We don't have a recommendation as it'll really depend on your image and how much text you'll want within those pop ups, and in your case the desire to not have it scroll. Since Rise is responsive it's going to adapt the images based on the device dimensions as you'll see detailed a bit more in this article about Best Practices for High Quality images.
