Logo specification Mar 15, 2018 By Jochen Pils What is the exact specification of the logo file? I fail to upload with an error message. I tried a JPG with 100x30 px. "Please verify the file type is an image and try again."
Andrea Lodato 6 years ago03/16/18 at 12:58 pm (UTC) Solution was to use Google Chrome. I was in IE (in error) and had the errors, once I switched to Chrome all was okay.

Lindsey Hillman over 5 years ago08/08/18 at 10:40 am (UTC) I only have IE 11 - is there a way that we can upload a logo? I am having the same problems (whether I use a jpg or png) and get this error message: Please verify the file type is an image and try again.
Alyssa Gomez Staff over 5 years ago08/09/18 at 3:34 pm (UTC) Hi Lindsey! You'll want to use Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, since those browsers are supported for authoring Rise courses. Do you have the option to download another browser and try again?
Lindsey Hillman over 5 years ago08/14/18 at 9:10 am (UTC) I don't have the option for Chrome, but Firefox did download and solved the problem

Leslie McKerchie Staff over 5 years ago09/06/18 at 8:01 pm (UTC) Oh no, Dorte! Are you experiencing the same error the conversation started with? "Please verify the file type is an image and try again." Would you be able to share the image file that you are using so that we could take a look?
Dorte Lynge Hansen over 5 years ago09/07/18 at 9:56 am (UTC) We had to reboot our computers after browser update, so it was working the next day :-)

Teo Karageorgakis over 5 years ago10/08/18 at 7:22 am (UTC) For anyone interested. If you try uploading a pic file no matter the type (jpg, png, etc) no matter the browser, it won't work unless the name of the picture is in English. Found out that my Greek named pics were unable to be uploaded.
