Hello, is there any way to remove the multiple scrollbars created in Rise? Does anyone know the logic behind them? If I add more sections, will it keep adding scrollbars or are there always 3? Thanks!
Are you seeing this when exporting for LMS? If so, our team is aware of an issue with multiple scroll bars that appear when Rise is exported and hosted to an LMS environment. They're currently investigating that, but I'll ensure that this forum discussion is linked in that QA report so that we can update you here once there is any additional information to share.
Right, I have questions like Ashley too about where you're seeing this. Are you seeing it after it's been exported or in authoring preview? If you're seeing it in preview, it may be because you're not using one of the supported browsers for authoring.
Thanks for letting us know what browser version you're using. Do you have a link to the Rise course that's displaying as such which you could share? If you'd prefer not to share it publicly here, please send along to our team of Support Engineers here.
Yes, I am publishing to an LMS, but actually, it seems like it is mainly just in preview. It appears to be OK (at least in the Saba Cloud app). I'll keep testing on various browsers. Thanks!
Hi Adam. I'm also having this issue when viewing Scorm package from LMS (Moodle).
Four scroll bars in total when viewing on PC Chrome or IE and two scroll bars when viewing Chrome/Safari/Firefox on OSX. Also no scrollbars or the ability to scroll on IOS. thanks
I am experiencing the same issues in Preview and when publishing to an LMS. Course created using latest version of Chrome.
Adding this comment so I remain in the loop :-)
I was also wondering if there was a way to direct users to chunks of topics on the basis of quiz questions they answered incorrectly? For instance, if we break a quiz of 10 questions into 5 chunks - each related to a content chunk - is it possible for us to direct users to learn about the corresponding content area they got wrong? Not sure if I should create a separate thread for this!
Hey All - we have a fix we are testing for those of you who see the multiple scrollbars. Should be out soon and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
Sid - that feature you describe for prescriptive learning based on quiz results does not exist in Rise.
The multiple scrollbar issue in Rise has been resolved. If you've published your course, you will need to export it again. Please let us know if you're still seeing problems with either preview or when exported.
Thanks for fixing the multiple scrollbars issue - I've re-exported the course as a 1.2 SCORM and it has worked beautifully without multiple scrollbars BUT sending back completions to the LMS doesn't seem to be working...
My apologies Michael - I thought I had edited the response - the completion did go through but it took longer than usual. I was using course completion as the type of completion and we are using Janison Cloud Learning System.
Hi there Greg! There were a few different issues mentioned in this discussion, so can you tell me more about what you're seeing? If you can also include a screenshot of the issue, that'd be even better! We'll be standing by to help.
I'm experiencing the same problems with the double scrollbar. I have contacted my LMS support and they send me here.
The response: We have received few tickets and our product team confirmed that there is some kind of set focus code on that page that Litmos does not control.

Hi Ashley and Adam,
I'm experiencing the same issue in both preview mode and when publishing. I'm currently running Chrome 54.0.2840.99 m
Thanks Francois - we'll have dev dig into this and get back to you.

Great. Regardless, we've got engineers looking at this issue now and our goal is to fix it in Preview as well.

Hi Sid, which LMS are you using? We'll look into the issue. Also, which type of completion did you choose on export?
My apologies Michael - I thought I had edited the response - the completion did go through but it took longer than usual. I was using course completion as the type of completion and we are using Janison Cloud Learning System.
HI
Articulate team: Found a small bug on Francois' courses(You can access the course here: https://rise.articulate.com/share/NXoQInsgP0dAQRWC)
If you look at the progressbar, there was 2 small orange line. Should be no line, or just one. :)
Thanks Francois - yes, we have an open bug that sometimes the course overview pages shows a small dot at 12 and 6'oclock positions. We'll fix it!
Good news, Francois - this has been fixed.
What was the fix? We are experiencing this problem currently.
