NEW IN RISE: Process Block

Jul 31, 2018

New feature alert! We just shipped the latest new goodie in Rise, the process block.

Now you can add process interactions to the custom lessons you create with blocks. They’re a great way to help learners explore and understand a step-by-step process. And of course they’re beautiful and responsive to any device.

Take a peek at the process block in action:

We can’t wait to see what you create with this new block!

Hi,

I see the label language options for the process block and have selected French. For all other elements of the course, the French language labels are being applied but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to change to the Process block labels. Is there something that I am doing wrong here?

Is it possible to set it so learners can't progress to the next lesson until all stages of the process flow have been viewed?

At present you can just select the last stage of the process flow so it looks like you have viewed all the steps. I like to use Continue Dividers where you have to complete all stages (like all the markers in a labelled graphic) before the Continue button becomes active. Is it possible to do this in Rise?

I agree with this request...Also, I noticed the other day that unlike the other embedded interactions, we can't change the background colour of the process block. This would be a welcome addition.

Hi David,

Are you looking to change the top listing, the bottom, or both? The top one you can change the wording (I set it to Number vs. Step) and the numbers are consistent throughout.

I’ll be happy to share with our product team, but you can also feel free to detail them more through a feature request!
