I have an issue with embedding video from our corporate video repository, Media Platform. It does not let you play it inline, it only lets you click to open a new window.
The reason this does not currently work is because Rise can only embed URLs from certain media hosting sites (full list here). We are currently working on a solution for your problem, which will allow you to use the full iframe embed code and play any content in Rise. You can expect this very soon. We'll keep you updated.
I am having the same issue as well. I went to the site you posted and I see Kaltura is listed as one of the media hosting sites. I've tried multiple embed options. So far, Iframe is the one that at least gets me to the same spot Rebecca got to, but I need to click on the text for the video to pop up in a new window. Any suggestions Michael? Thanks!
Is your video hosted on the kaltura.com domain and publicly available? If so, you should be able to enter the URL in a Rise Embed Lesson. Here's a screenshot of a that case - http://drops.articulate.com/mGtv/1srgtaS6
If you could provide the link to the video I can take a closer look.
We have an account with Kaltura. I believe I checked the correct settings to make this URL accessible publicly. This is the tiny URL Kaltura generates for the custom player. Let me know if I need to grab the URL from a different spot. Thanks!
I haven't seen a lot of references to jwplayer.com in the Forums before, but I wonder if you've got an embed code or link that our team could take a look at? If you can't share here publicly can you pass it along to our Support Engineers here?
It's still something that our team is checking into - so I don't have an update to share with you here yet, but we'll be certain to keep you posted once we've got an update!
We shipped a fix this weekend Rise for the issues folks were having with how the embed code may not be respected for the iFrame element - so you should be ok with your code now in Rise if you were to use the follow:
While I feel Rise is very awesome and very limiting at the same time, I really can’t wait to see this product grow over the years because I think it’s going to be a real game changer.
Hello, I'm having the same issue with embedding Kaltura content. The content is coming from the https://cdnapi.kaltura.com domain. Can anything be done to get this working?
I have a third-party vendor that supplies me safety videos. It seemed like a great marriage to be able to put them in RIse and it works in a windows environment but when I try the course on my iPhone i just get a blank iframe where the video is supposed to be??

We shipped a fix this weekend Rise for the issues folks were having with how the embed code may not be respected for the iFrame element - so you should be ok with your code now in Rise if you were to use the follow:
<iframe src="//content.jwplatform.com/players/1sLVC7VE-m1Y0RljD.html" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" allowfullscreen style="position:absolute;"></iframe>
And then that cute kitten will appear. :)
Let us know if you have any other questions!
I love you guys so much.
This is awesome! I am definitely going to test this out tomorrow! I'll report back. Thank you!!!
Sent from my iPhone. Please excuse any tyops.
Thanks Lee and Rebecca - I passed your praise along to our Product team. :)
Let us know if you need anything else.
Hooray! Thanks Christoph for the update.
It works!!! Thank you guys so much!!
While I feel Rise is very awesome and very limiting at the same time, I really can’t wait to see this product grow over the years because I think it’s going to be a real game changer.
Thanks Lee for the vote of confidence and update about how your embeds are working! If you need anything else just give us a holler!

Hi Steve,
Happy to help you! Are the videos hosted on the web, or did you upload them directly to your Rise 360 lesson?
If they're hosted on the web, are they on your web server or a hosting tool like Vimeo or Youtube?
Do you run into this problem if you test the course Share link on your iPhone?

Hi Elisabeth! Try this iframe code:
<iframe src="https://video.alexanderstreet.com/embed/reflex-assessment-in-pediatric-physicals"></iframe>
You can control the size of the embedded video by clicking on the Settings tab and adjusting the Embed Width.
Hi,
Is there a way of embedding a video from Kaltura with its transcript player into Rise?
Thank you!
Hi Rania, is the transcript player part of the embed code that Kaltura provides? If so, you can try using the embed block.
You can refer to this article to fix any issues you may have with the embed block.
