This is happening to me too but it seems to be more about different users' PCs than the different browsers. My RISE fonts are Lato but when another user accessed the course via our LMS just now, the course displayed in Times New Roman (or similar serif font). Is anybody able to help with this please?
There are a couple of reasons why you might see the wrong font in a Rise course. Is this happening in Internet Explorer only, or in all web browsers? Check out this article to find out how you can solve it, depending on the browser you're using.
I'm having the same issue. I'm using Lato and testing from the articulate server (not LMS). Both my coworker and I are using Chrome but the font displays in what looks like Times New Roman on her computer.
Hi there, Mat. Can you have your coworker check her Internet Explorer settings for the ability to download font files? Here's an article with more detail.
I'm sure this would fix the problem but it's not a great option to have everyone who views the course change their internet settings. Is there a more universal font that would stay consistent on all computers?
Hey Mat! You're right — you shouldn't have to adjust your browser settings if you're using Chrome. Lato should consistently display on all computers, but it sounds like it's not working as expected.
Would you mind sending the course Share link to our team? We'd love to take a closer look at it from our side.
If that works for you, you can send it privately by opening a case.
Hello! We are having the same issue discussed here. Our courses use Roboto and Lato but reviewers are seeing a different font (Times New Roman?) in Chrome. Should we be using different fonts? I agree with Mat King that requiring users to change their settings would not be a good fix.
Hi, Silvia. Using Chrome 83 in both Mac and Windows, I'm able to see the Lato and Roboto fonts display in my test course as expected when using the Share link or exporting to web.
Ask your reviewers who are seeing the incorrect font what version of Chrome they're using, and if testing the course in an incognito window helps. If it does, there may be a browser plugin or something in the cache that is interfering with fonts.
We're happy to help as well. Click here to work through more troubleshooting with my team.
Thank you, Crystal. I was able to confirm that the issue was in Review 360. Still an issue, but luckily the fonts seem to display fine when playing the published course in the LMS.
Thanks for the update, Silvia. I'm glad it's working in your LMS. We'll be happy to help further with the Review 360 behavior if you'd like. Just let us know!

Hi Claudine,
What font are you using in your Rise course?
It also looks like you've uploaded this to your LMS, have you also tested the Rise Share link in those two browsers?

Thanks Crystal. We are both using Chrome.
