I'd never thought of this before, however I can see the need for it in the future. I'm all for this!

I have seen a couple users mention a similar workaround as David shared, to use a text block or even a continue button at the bottom of each lesson (not the quiz or prebuilt lesson types). 

For the "Confidential" language - could you also look at putting that in the title? It may be a bit wordy, but if you're using the sidebar then it would display in the top corner throughout your course?

We'll keep you posted if this feature idea is added to Rise. In the meantime have you looked at using the "Continue" divider block? You could place that at the end of a group of blocks and use it as a footer? You'd have to add it to each group - but perhaps another method to play around with. 

My sponsors require their branding logos to appear on all pages of course content. A common footer in Rise would be a great place to solve this requirement. I'm up for the idea as well.

I have a client requiring this as well.  "Confidential and for internal use only not to be shared outside ...."   It seems silly and a waste of space but there is always a chance that someone takes something out of context and my client sees it as a way to further protect themselves.

Hey Ben, this looks helpful. If I include HTML code in the disclaimer.txt file, will it show up properly in the Rise footer or will it just put the text as it appears? I'd like to link to a Privacy Policy page in the footer of a Rise course.

Ben, just wanted to say thanks for sharing your workaround. I had the same need as the rest of you and this workaround came through!

Was this request ever completed? I need the footer for the disclaimer as well.

I hope you can resequence these helpful posts for the New Year so that the latest version is always first (or at least I can globally set it as that). Time and time again, I find myself reading 4-year-old messages. Two things happen, either I find out that the issue is resolved (Yeah!), but I waste time discovering it (Uggh!). The other occurrence makes me think (again!) that you are unresponsive to feature requests since simple requests go unresolved for years! A footer could have been introduced to your themes feature--what a natural fit, yet it was ignored. Almost daily, I choke down my frustration with this product.
