RISE - Letters instead of Numbers in Lists?

Hi, Alyssa. I, too, would find great utility in using letters instead of numbers for the lists. Just wanted to add my support for this feature and ask if this has any chance of making it to light, seeing that the first request was six months ago.

Right now you can add numerical characters to a Numbered List block, but not letters.

Within those sections is:
1a, 1b, 1c etc..

Hi Mark, thanks for checking in. We don't have any changes to the numbered list block on our roadmap right now, but I appreciate you letting us know you need more numbering options. 

Yes having ordered list other than numbers would be great.  Pretty essential for any case where you are building an online book or document in Rise, which I do a lot.    Without them you don't have a true letter ordered list with correct indention.

+1 for me too! We designed a package which cross referenced items as ABCD and assumed the list would allow you to type in letters (the same way you alter numbers in a split list). It's unfortunate because we'll have to switch to SL - despite the fact that *everything* else we want works in Rise. 

The link about how you manage feature requests doesn't indicate if there is an existing feature request for this - is there one? Do I need to create it?

This isn't rocket science, just add the feature. It's basic in all productivity and design apps.

Me too. It also seems strange that bullet lists look completely different from numbered lists.

I'm I missing something, can I change the look of bulleted lists? They are so small by comparision

First request for this "feature" was over 5 years ago. Still nothing?

This is basic html, not rocket science. 

I would like to give this discussion a bump. I am finding that we need Ordered Lists to have the option of letters (both upper- and lower-case options) or numbers for some legal content that cannot be changed to use numbers.

With this should come the ability to start/continue a numbered list at ANY desired number or letter. This is especially important when adding an image to a numbered list of steps. Because adding something as simple as an image to a paragraph will start my numbering all over again since I'll be forced to add another text block to continue my previous numbered list.

+1 for this feature for what it's worth.
