Rise - quiz attempts issue

Hi
I set 3 attempts for quiz and did not select "require passing score to continue"
When users don't pass the quiz, I want them to contact the admin instead of having unlimited attempts. so I created the following lesson with a button and add direct link to contact the admin.
However, users can exit the SCORM package then when they reopen the scorm, all quiz attempts are gone and they can restart the quiz.
Is there a way to set these settings?
- Have 3 quiz attempts only
- Not able to retake quiz until admin reset their quiz score in LMS
- Users only be able to see the last attempts of their quiz.

Hi there, Ina.
Tell me more about why you chose not to use the setting "require passing score to continue." If you use that option, after the third attempt, the learner will not be able to progress to the next lesson or retake the quiz.
If your course is hosted in an LMS, when learners revisit the course using their same login credentials, they should return to the last quiz result until the admin resets their progress.
It sounds like you're having an issue with learners not resuming the course where it was left off, however. Is that right?
yes. if i don't set "require passing score to continue", the rise doesn't take learners to resuming the course where it was left off.

The resume behavior is determined by your LMS at this time. You are welcome to test the content in SCORM Cloud to see if you experience similar behavior.
It sounds like you've set up your attempts within your Rise Quiz Settings:
Subsequent attempts outside of the session are driven by the LMS as well, so you may want to follow up on your team on that.
I responded to a similar question here about e-mailing the admin.

One of our developers experienced a similar issue with Rise. We set the number of attempts to unlimited, however, users were being blocked after 4 or attempts.
I'm going to republish the files to see if that resolves the issue, but is there any reason for why this would happen?
Hello, Zaakir! I haven't run into this issue yet, but I'm glad you shared your experience with us.
Republishing your course is a great start. I would also recommend testing the course in another LMS environment, like SCORM Cloud. This will help determine if the issue lies within your LMS or the actual Rise 360 course. If you are able to replicate in SCORM Cloud, be sure to send the LMS output file to us privately in a case. We'd be happy to take a look.
