If you have a rise course where general staff are required to complete 90% of the module and only managers need to do the last 10% of the course, is there a way general staff can skip past the last section, other than turning the free navigation on?
One other option would be to share a duplicate of the course with the managers and set that one to have free navigation. If you'll upload to an LMS and need to track completion, it can be by percentage of the course seen, and that would allow your managers to still register as "Complete" since their course could have a different percentage.
I'll be curious to hear how others in the community have handled this too!
I had a bit of a play yesterday afternoon and put in this section
This course is marked as completed if you finish a quiz at the end so this shouldn't affect content completion figures. Could you see any other reason why this wouldn't work? It's not ideal but the only way I could come up with a work around other than storyline!
I think a lot of your general staff will think "Skip" means they get to do less, thereby tricking them into the rest of the course. Hopefully, that's what you were after. 😉
