I have the same problem. If you change the "Story Size" (width/ Heigth) in storyline and/ or the "small, - medium - full" settings in rise the result is better or worse... but it is trial and error. Maybe we could have an optimal settings recommendation by Articualte?
Thanks for letting us know what's going on, and I'm happy to help.
Do you notice that the Storyline block looks more blurry in some browsers? For example, if you test the course in both Chrome and Internet Explorer, do you notice that the Storyline content looks more blurry in Chrome?
If you don't mind sending me the Rise "Share" link, I'd love to help you test it!
I have been told the recommended browser for Articulate is Chrome so that is all that I have been using. Just tested it now and it looks the same on both browsers since I increased the Story Size to 1245 700
We support a number of browsers, some of us may have a personal preference for Chrome. 😉

So I know this is a relatively old post and I do not see any response but I am having this issue too. I have a storyline 360 block in Rise and the text is blurry. Does anyone know of a resolution for this? I am using Chrome as my browser.
Thanks Alyssa. So the SL size is 4:3 and the Rise setting is Small. It looks much better when I set the Rise to Medium but it's huge in the context of the Rise course. Do I have any alternatives to make it smaller without it blurring?
Would you mind if I had a closer look at your Rise 360 course? If that works for you, please send me your Share link. You also have the option to send it privately by opening a case.
Thanks, Cindy! I saw two Storyline blocks in your content. One is 16x9, and the other is 4x3. Both looked very clear from my web browser. Here's what I saw:
How does that compare with what you're seeing from your side?
Yes. But for them not to be blurry I have to set the size in Rise to medium
and that makes them quite large in relation to the other content. I just
think it looks a little weird. I would like to have it set to small and
don't understand why it gets fuzzy when I do so.
It could be that the original slide size is large, and the slide is being scaled down to fit inside the "Small" Storyline block. Scaling down a slide too much often results in a loss of quality.
On the other hand, the text and image quality looks very clear on my browser, even if I scale down the Storyline block by shrinking my browser window.
You can always try reducing the slide size in Storyline, then re-insert the Storyline Block into Rise. For example, if the original slide size is 1920 x 1080 pixels (16:9), you could reduce that to 1280 x 720 pixels (16:9).

I have noticed that changing it to medium or large in Rise makes it slightly clear although I don't really want it to take up that much space.
Thanks I will check the story size & good idea for the recommendation

Can I send the link privately?
Thank you

I am experiencing the same issues. All my Storyline blocks are fuzzy. Was there a resolution to the above question. Also, I am using Chrome.
Hi LN,
I saw you also submitted a Support case so that we can take a look at your project. Thanks!
One of my colleagues will be in touch as soon as they've had a chance to test it.
Any update on this? Is there a magic storyline size?
No update Michael.
The reported issues seem specific to viewing in Chrome. Is that what you're experiencing as well?

Hello, Cindy! Thanks for including the screenshot.
First, what are the dimensions of your Storyline slides? You can find this by going to the Design tab on the ribbon and clicking Story Size.
Also, do you see a difference if you change the width in the Storyline block settings? The options are Small, Medium, and Full Width.

One more thing. Yesterday U made my SL slides 16-9 to see what that would
do so what you'll see is not the 4:3 size. Still same issue.
Thanks for the help!
