In Rise, with hyperlinked text selected, the formatting tool bar that pops up contains only buttons to edit or delete the URL. How do I modify text formatting of hyperlinked text?
You'd have to modify the appearance of the hyperlink by selecting other surrounding text in addition to the hyperlink itself. I did this by adding a simple punctuation mark immediately after the hyperlink to select with the link and then deleted it after the fact.
Yes of course, but when you need to make changes to a large document that has many links, there is no practical way to do this. In my opinion, this should be considered as a bug.

It also seems to work if you modify the appearance before you add the link-- it keeps the formatting even after you turn it into a link.
