Right now, there isn’t a way to do that in Rise. However, you could create something like this in Storyline and insert it into Rise via a Storyline block.
If the ability to do this natively in Rise would make authoring easier for you, please log a feature request to tell us more.
I created a screen record video in Storyline and imported it into Rise, the issue I have is that I can't make the storyline interaction full screen in Rise. Am I missing something somewhere? Otherwise, I will have to publish as an MP4 and figure out some other way to post the transcript?

As a part of our efforts to make Rise 360 WCAG 2.1 compliant by the end of 2020, we’ve increased the contrast for built-in course features, added alt text for images, and added keyboard-accessible navigation. Check out the articles I linked there for best practices!
When I upload a transcript to a video, the first block appears:
When I click the download icon or the filename, it open, but so does an "Untitled" browser tab, which references the name of the *.docx file I uploaded. See the second image.
How do I stop it from spawning the "untitled" tab in the browser? We're using Edge.
Hi Daniel, it looks like you're uploading your transcript as a file in your course. Clicking on an attachment block will download the attachment for your learner. If you aren't adding an attachment, can you share the exact steps you're following to upload your transcript?
Another option you can try is pasting the text of your transcript in an Interactive > Accordion block.
I've added an accordian block for a transcipt to a video which is just above it, but if you then have a divider e.g. saying that the interactions above must be completed, that means that the user must click the accordian transcript to continue, when of course it should be optional.
Any suggestions to ensure a video is watched, and the transcript is optional?
Andrew, could you instead include the transcript as a PDF in an attachment block, for example? They could have it simultaneously open next to their Rise 360 course window, and continue blocks don't track attachment blocks.
I like the PDF attachment option, but it would be nice if we could adjust the size of the attachment block. I just want to offer the transcript as an option without making it so prominent.
Hi Mark! If your transcript is hosted online (like Google Docs or similar), you can hyperlink text and link it to your transcript. I wanted to offer that idea in case it helps!

Also, for video captions - do I need to store the video elsewhere e.g. Vimeo and then link to it?
For captions put it on vimeo or youtube.
For a transcript either add a download button or add an accordion
Thanks for your speedy reply.

I would like this native feature in Rise. I am having difficulty showing the captions/subtitles.

Hi team,
Has there been any progress on the accessibility features?

Hi, is there any update on video transcripts? Thanks
Hi Emma!
Were you looking to have automated video transcripts or the ability to add a transcript/caption into Rise 360?
You can add captions to video in Rise 360 and manually add transcripts to an Accordion block below the video.
