Estimated Course Duration Calculator for Rise 360
At the very least, it would be nice to have Rise offer a word count for each course or lesson so we can calculate it ourselves without all the excess work!
I used the Articulate AI to do a word count. It worked like a champ. Then I tried again on a different course and I get this:
I finally just published my Rise course into a PDF and let the AIs figure the word count.Hey Cowtown,
Thank you for sharing the feedback.
After testing the same workaround, most courses returned a word count and estimated completion time.
However, there were times when Update content with AI refused to provide an answer. That tool is currently still in beta and not yet designed or programmed to calculate word counts consistently.
That said, I completely understand the need for a built-in, reliable way to estimate course durations for learners. We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps!
Hi ShannonMille321,
Thanks for adding your support for an estimated course duration feature in Rise.
Can you share how you've been working around this limitation and calculating course duration today? Also, roughly how much time does that process add to your workflow?
