Prevent text-to-speech from reading superscript and subscripted text.

When notes/transcript has words such as HiSET(R) and the (R) is superscripted for "registered", can Articulate program the text to speech to NOT read superscript and sub script, I'm not sure of a use case where one would want it to be spoken.
