Storyline/Studio documentation
May 27, 2012
Hello!
Before the redesign of Articulate website there were manuals in pdf on each of Articulate Studio product called Engage 09 Documentation, Presenter 09 Docmentation etc . Do I understand correctly that now there wouldn't be any such documents and Articulate plan to develop more "tutorial - like" tools like http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/getting-started-with-articulate-storyline.aspx
If there is such a document for Storyline please point me to the link.

Hi Janus.
I am not sure from the Articulate company perspective, however, what aspects of the product is it that you feel you would like more information on?
Bruce
Janus, check out Storyline for Starters at www.GoStoryline.com.
Hi Janus -
The Articulate Storyline documentation is complete and available for free in our Product Tutorials section. We've heard from some users that a pdf version would be helpful so we're looking at some options for offering that.
Storyline was only released a few weeks ago, so our documentation focus has been on quality, accuracy and completeness. Are you looking for printed documentation, or is there a specific style you're looking for?
David
Thank you for your answers. Half a year ago I have downloaded documentation in pdf for Studio and couple of times it was a timesaver - even though I am a heavy user of Articulate sometimes I found "the right way" to do things there. So I just wondered if there is such documentation for Storyline. I also think that pdf version would be excellent option and ready to wait to have this done.
Thanks, Janus!
We hear you and we'll publish our Storyline tutorials to PDF once things settle a bit. You're welcome to print or save any of the existing lessons to PDF if you like. I know that's not the same as a pdf manual, but I wanted to put that out there.
If you run into any questions along the way, please don't hesitate to ask us--it's what we're here for
I would like a written copy 'PDF' file to refer back to. Going online and searching does take some time.
Also, I would like to request when doing the tutorials to show how everything was created for the different slides. I have noticed when viewing the tutorials, I like a lot of what is on the slides but, the tutorials may only show how to do one things on the slide. Then, I have to go searching to find out how to create the other features. It is not user friendly in that instance. Just a thought.
Any update on the PDF documentation for Storyline?
Good Morning, David.
PDF versions of the Storyline tutorials in E-Learning Heroes can be downloaded here. Please let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
Thank you, Justin!
