strange that there is not a variable for "maximum score" (not to mix up with lms max score), that should be the sum of all the scores of all quiz slides that are connected to a result slide. I had to create one manually but i need to update its value also manually...
Perhaps I'm not understanding what you're looking for - but wouldn't it be the Results.ScorePoints and the Results.PassPoints which would total the number of points you've assigned and the points you'd need to receive a passing score?

It is a short list I'm afraid. You can see them in the Variables editor once you add a results slide for your quiz.

The system variables of Storyline aren't accessible, and specifically the results variables aren't able to be edited.
If I'm misunderstanding could you share a bit more here or in the form of a feature request as this thread is also a bit older!
