I am in the market for a high end microphone. All of my courses are narrated and i would like to find a microphone that provides the highest sound quality. My price range is between $200 and $350. Thanks for your input

Not in the $200-$350 range, but I've found that the mic on my iPhone earbuds works better than any USB mic I've tried. In combination with Audacity's recently improved noise-removal feature, you can get pretty good quality recording with the headphones and editing with Audacity (at least for simple narration).
I use a snowball, the quality is great and it stands alone on a desk. The price range is also about half what you want to spend which is never a bad thing.
One of our developers has been using thehttp://bluemic.com/snowball/ for a couple of years now with really great results (as with Tila above). We have just purchased a second one as we are doing more and more audio.
We are also turning a small closet that is available in our space into a recording studio (cheap one). We will be hanging blankets on the wall to help with the echo/vibration. A small desk and computer and we have our studio. We are open to any other ideas.
We are also very happy with the Snowball. It's reasonably priced and works well. I can't say that it's "the best" but I can say the sound is excellent. Good luck!

Probably the best free recording software - a lot of us use it "professionally".

Shure SM58 with pop filter and an articulating desk mount. Adobe Audition and izotope RX4 to eliminate BG noise. We use Shure KSM 32s in studio.
