It's a pretty awesome example - but definitely no limit! The more you add though, the more taxing it is on your system for editing the file and once the user's go to play it if they're on a slow connection. Just something to keep in mind!
This is great info, but what about conditions within a trigger? Is there a limit to that? I've set up a trigger and it needs 17 conditions but it keeps defaulting back to 8.
At the very worst, if there is a limit of eight, you can write three triggers. If the first eight conditions are true, set a variable. If the next eight are true, set a second variable, and if both variables and the last condition are true, take the action.

Hi Cris,
There isn't a set number or any documentation of the upper limits, but I think Phil once built a course with thousands of triggers.
Maybe he can clarify that...
The answer is "a lot!" Check out Phil's Periodic Table example, which uses 7,000+ triggers on a single slide.
I think you are only limited by your computer's memory capacity.
Thanks, Steve!
That's the one
Oh my god! that interaction is INSANE! d8id phil ever shared the Storyline file?
thank you guys.
I just saw this.. O M G...
I got a headache just thinking about managing all those triggers!
lol
I am creating a project with 52 states and I wasn't sure if there was a limit. Now I know there is NO limit!! :)
Wow Phil did a great job on that periodic table of elements! It must have taken forever!
