I have designed a course for both clinical and non-clinicall staff. At the beginning of the course, both audiences receive the same content. After viewing 7 slides, they are asked to tell me if they are clinical or non-clinical staff.
Clinical staff are shown 10 more slides and then take a test. Non-clinical staff go straight to a test.
So I have 2 tests but I only want to pass the score of the test the staff member took. Is there a way to do this?
There may be a couple of ways you can do this, but it really depends on how you want to score the course and how you want to pass the data to the LMS.
The first, and probably easiest method would be to track by a specific slide. What you could do is create a custom "Thanks for taking this course!" slide that the staff would see if they passed either quiz. Have both the quizzes jump to that slide when they're finished.
If they fail the quiz, you could take them to a different slide. Depending on your course, and how you'd like to limit the retry options, you could either prompt them to take it again, or inform them that they did not pass.
Track the custom slide as the "completed" slide. When the staff access this slide, the course will be marked as completed. If they do not, it will track as incomplete.
Again, though, this really depends on what type of tracking and scoring you'll need. Another option would be to track multiple SCOs in your course. That is a little more complicated, but it may get you the results you're after.
Articulate Storyline and Articulate Presenter allow you to track a course either by the number of slides viewed or by one specific quiz (result slide). However, you may be able to track more than one SCO (shareable content object) in a single course, using any of the following unsupported methods. These articles refer to Presenter, but you should be able to to use the same techniques with Storyline.
Note: Articulate has not tested or verified the accuracy of the information provided in these articles. These methods are not supported by Articulate.
When you're going to publish your course, you'll be able to choose what slide, or results slide you'd like to track.
You'll want to make the slide you're tracking a results slide. You can customize this slide as much as you'd like, you can even use a simple "Thank you!" results slide available from the default templates, if you prefer.
After you've inserted your slide and customized it, click on "Publish". Once in the "Publish" window, select the "LMS" option if you're reporting the course to an LMS.
Along the bottom of this window you'll see an option for "Reporting and Tracking...". Click on that button and then select the "Tracking" tab. Here, you'll see an option for "Track using quiz result" and you'll have a drop-down menu that will display any and all results slides. Select the custom slide you created.
It should look something like this:

Hi. I thought I knew how to set this up but it keeps breaking. This is the part I am having troubles with:

Do I set up a trigger to go to this thank you page from the last test question? Do I set up conditional statements?
Yes, you'll want to make the final question on each quiz jump to that slide. However, how you set this up will depend on how your current quizzes are set up.
Are you able to share the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look and see what the best option would be for you.
Christine has taken a different position within Articulate, so she doesn't get into the forums as often - but there are a few different ways in which you could set this up, as you'll see in this community thread and this one.
