That's a great question... I do think these 4 basic skills are a good start but there's definitely even more you can know to be a well-rounded expert. Having a solid knowledge of how LMS (and Scorm, Tin can, etc.) work is a great skill to have. Using Javascript. Creating videos and screencasts. Those are all additional skills that can be greatly beneficial to an e-learning developer. I think it would be great for you to post this question in the Building Better Courses forum so that others can also offer their input... :)

Those are my suggestions for now! Building a portfolio and expanding your ID and e-learning skills is a great area to start.

Great presentation, but there was no exit button or instruction/guidance to leave the course. If I were reviewing this to hire an elearning designer I would be looking for these 'must have' elements.
Great one Nicole. I am trying to use this template for my project but am unable to change images (have even tried slide master).
Could you suggest me on how can I customize your template for my project.

You can right click on any slide and click "Format Background" from the menu that appears. From there, you can edit the image. Hope this helps!
