Bookshelf

Hai, This is the most wonderful presenter I have ever seen.How can I use this?I downloaded the file but i could see only two templates. I would like to maka presentation oout of it. Please help me with this.

I like this, so many online resources use the bookshelf format now its nice to have one for storyline and i can see how it could be adapted to suit the particluar topic(s) being used. Thanks for sharing

As a K12 eduator who teaches young people Socials and English online, this is brilliant! Thank-you!  

In the slide where you explain the states - we had to click on each state and a pop up would display.  What functionality is that using? Layers and then an embedded interaction?   I was so into the content that I had to go back and review again to see the Storyline functionality. Great job to the developer!

Jeanette, Oh!  Are you referencing the Screenr where I demonstrate how to add the rollovers to the states?  If so, then yes, you would use layers for your content, and then trigger the layer to display either when the user clicks a state, or when they mouse is hovered over the state. Mike

Cool stuff!!. Looks like iOS's iBook app. I've started playing with this template, you can build awesome personal bookstore using this. I've made my personal bookshelf and categorised the books as Unread & read stuff.

Brilliant simplicity... I have GOT to think less logical, use my sense of humor more, and get some great designs!

This is awesome!   I created a bookshelf and added small items you may also find on a shelf like The Thinker Statue, flower vase, and faux books that when clicked on had a pop up cloud; "these are not the books you are looking for...".   Thanks much!

How do I customize the book cover? I tried the PPT file, thinking it is a "grouped" image, but apparently not...

Hi Ron, The book covers were made in a different program. However, you can easily replicate something similar in PowerPoint.  If you post over on the forums, I'll reply there with a sample mock up.  Forum Link: community.articulate.com/.../default.aspx Mike

Great resource Mike, thanks! Perfect for a resource library.  I have used it to display government legislation that the Learner can download, being legislation, a simple bullet list of links would not have been very motivating. Cheers Shane

@Tracy, the inside pages were created using a third party program (box shot king).  

Mike, this is GREAT!  I've taken your idea and made it look a bit more Amazon-ee, instead of bookshelves.  Listed the Title Pages (like book cover and titles, with link to an intro page for each.  Each intro page shows Module Cover with Look Inside.  Look inside is linked to samples of each in it's respective scene. This is particularly great for our use as we are launching our courses for mobile use. You are awesome!!!!
