I reworked the free PowerPoint slide here so it works with Storyline. Here's an example of the template in action. I added some media and characters to it. The rollovers are controlled at the master level for this template. If you don't make edits the master shapes, you'll be able to apply color schemes to it to get a different look.

This is a fantastic template! My boss used this to develop an amazing product, and when accessing the training on a standard browser on a computer, we have not had a single issue. However, we have had our share of issues when trying to view the product using an iPad.
One issue in particular, occurs at the beginning of a quiz. After contacting Articulate Support, our support person informed us that he believed that our Storyline file was corrupt. We have reviewed the support article regarding how to prevent Storyline file corruption (articulate.com/.../kb_article.php), and have come to the conclusion that we did nothing on our end that should cause file corruption.
Can you provide any insight as to what may be happening? Again, the file is perfectly fine when viewed using flash (standard desktop/laptop browser) however when viewing on an iPad via our LMS provider's HTML5 mobile site, we experience the problems outlined above.

I have the same question as Gonzalo - the circles are not individual objects, although they behave that way in the preview mode. How can I add triggers to the circles?

As a new user, it took me longer to figure this out than was necessary. I was on the wrong view. You need to click the View tab, then Slide Master view. The triggers should now appear.

I used this template as a PPT years ago, and am now trying to use it in Storyline. I cannot make the triggers work. The rollovers work OK as far as the states of the circles, but I have on hover to show layer 1. Layer 1 does not display,
I have a feeling I am going to have to start from scratch.
Hi, I'm pretty new to Articulate Storyline and am developing some of my first courses. I ran into a real snag when I tried developing my own course using this template. I added an additional circle. Then I figured out how to do the rollovers. I also go the butons to trigger other sections without much trouble. But when it came to figuring out how to get the check marks to work I got totally stumped!
I found that searching for a solution to a problem using Google and coming into Articulate Storyline that way brings up more help than from inside the community. For some reason the keyword search just doesn't bring up much of anything.

This is the link to the screenr - www.articulate.com/.../how-to-track-visited-slides-and-provide-visual-indicator. It's a three step process: you have to set the variables first. Then set a trigger on the slide level itself to change the variable. Then finally, go to the menu and set the trigger there on the master slide. You can get the checkmark from any clipart and insert it into the "visited state of the circle. One thing that kept me frustrated for a while, that I didn't know, was that after you add the check mark to the circle you have to group them together to make them one object to get the state changes to work.
I hope all this makes sense. I spent so many hours to figure this out, I thought I would post this just to help anyone else that might be having trouble. To save them some time. Tom's screenr was over my head for a while, but once I had to actually walk through it item by item, now it seems really easy.
I don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but I used this template and gout my first course up. I love the way Articulate Storyline works! I'm getting really excited about what I can do with Storyline! I've just finished my second course. In the first one I used the photographic characters. In this one I used the illustrated characters. I believe I have the states, triggers, and variables down pretty good now. In this course I wanted to take our frequently asked questions page and create interactions using the characters in dialogue to answer them. I think it turned out pretty good.
