This version uses Storyline 2. I think I have an older version in Storyline 1. I will have to do a bit of work on it to make it generic but will do so when I get a big of time.
It works well with the Articulate Mobile Players for iPad and Android. I have not tested the html5 version for the iPad in a while but it worked well when I was testing during development.
Hi Mischelle, the batteries are just a visual aid to show progress. Each time a user completes a topic the battery fills in a little. There are 3 topics in each section so once the third topic is done the battery is fully charged.
I love this presentation! Thanks for sharing. I am new to Storyline and still trying to learn. I am having issues with the lock function and the submenu titles disappearing and can't quite figure out what is going on - I added a couple of slides in one section, which is why this is happening. I'm trying to match up the triggers and was hoping someone could help!
I can take a look at it if you like. Send me a note with your email address and we can arrange for you to send me the file. Or if you post a question in the storyline file and attach to file I can pick it up there.
I finally found some time to create a Storyline 1 version for this template. Right now it is just available from my blog so you will have to go to

Hi Nancy! I'm using this AWESOME template for a training module. (Thanks so much for sharing it - it is PERFECT for my topic.)
Question: How do I get rid of the padlock images, in the event that I don't want to lock the sections?
-Vicki
On the Base layer, I added a disabled state to each of the coloured circles. The disabled state contains the lock so the easiest way to get rid of the locks on the base is to change the initial state of each of the colour circles to normal. There is also a trigger assigned to each of the colours that says something like "Change state of object to Normal when the timeline starts if xDone is equal to true. You should probably delete these triggers.
On each layer the locks are set up as the disabled state for each to the text topics so you just have to change the initial states to Normal for each of the topics to get them to work without a lock.
Hello Nancy, thank you for this model.
When I created a new project based on an existing precedent, background images ("custom") for each topic have been distorted ... I did not select these pictures (small foster home and color ring with a central pictogram) back in good shape. Where can I find a way to change them?
Sorry Isabelle, I am not sure if I understand your question correctly, but it you pulled in images that had different size dimensions they often get disported to the best thing to do in that case is right-click on the image, select the Size and Position option. You should see a RESET button at the bottom left. Click that button to reset the image to its original size and then scale it so that it looks good in this project.
Hi Nancy,
This is just great!
One question:
I need to add some longe titles instead of Topic 1, Topic 2, etcetera, but can't find a way to move the padlock image. How can I change the relative position of the padlock image of each text box?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
German
Hi German, if you click on a coloured circle and the click the States tab next to the timeline you will see that the lock has been added to the disabled state. To move it, click EDIT States and select the Disabled State. Once selected just move the lock on the screen to where you want it to be. You will have to do this for each circle.
