PowerPoint template inspired by iPad navigation. You can read more about the template in this Rapid E-Learning Blog post. The general idea is to convert each slide's bullet point to a faux app. You can see a mock up here.
I love this template in .ppt, however I was wondering if anyone tried to oepn it in Keynote and did it convert correctly to Keynote? We are moving to doing our presentations on the Ipad using Keynote. I plan to use this template as part if my training to roll out the Ipad to teachers and students.
Perfect! I'll be unleashing some Excel training on teenagers and I think you've hit on the one style that may avoid sighs of boredom and depression!
NB: I'm also using 2007 and have just been made nervous by the previous person's comment. Hopefully it won't be an issue.
Hey - I am really excited about using this template! I'm a fairly new user with Articulate, so I'm not quite sure how to fix a small problem. When I publish the downloaded template, the white space only covers about 3/4 of the screen, and the icons in the background can still be seen. I expanded the size of the white shape, and added another layer to stop the bleed-through. I can't seem to "stretch" the white layer wide enough though, because it will not go to the edge of the screen. Make sense? I can attach a picture of what I'm dealing with, if that clarifies my question.
Thanks in advance for your help! I've spent all weekend working on this, and I really want to pitch the idea first thing on Monday AM!
I love love love this! Thank you for the inspired idea, it's perfect for some techy training I'm working on.
Slight roadblock, though - I'm seeing the same issue in PowerPoint 2007 where I can't edit the boxes or text. I was wondering if we could just get the background without the boxes/text and I could just add them myself. Or does anybody know a work-around?
Kyla: I was able to use this in PPT 2007. I am not sure I understand your issue. You are familar with using the Master Slides? Where some of the objects and links reside?
Bob
Ah! I see now, I've never used the Master Slide function in Power Point. But after I saw your comment I started searching and found it...and saw that I could change the text within it. Thanks, Bob!
Glad that helped. I had a similar but very complexy issue that the guys from articulate figured out. I had hyperlinks appearing on pages that I had not set up such hyperlinks. I had removed all of the graphics and text that I did not need from the master, but neglected to remove hyperlinks.
Cheers.
Can anyone explain how to deconstruct the template so that I have the background image separated out, and am able to add my customsed icons as required?
Sorry if it's very obvious!
The template is great! I've used it in my very first e-learning project for a schhol. It's simple, it's in Swedish(!) but I think it works. I'd love some feedback and suggestions!
Thank you!
As you can see, some titles are repeated in the sidebar. Is there anyway I can avoid this? The slides lokk the same, but they aren't since the first one contains a movin part and the second doesn't.
