Are you looking for a simple way to introduce newcomers to your team? Give this one a go! Just download this PowerPoint template, swap out the placeholder content, and you’ll be all set.
Dear Allison, it looks ok above but downloaded it is extremely large at 84 MB.
And seems to be corrupted.
I've not been able to get a clean download.
Do you have another way to download a smaller version?
Thanks
It may be large because of all the HD photos. The only way I can think of to give you a smaller version would be if I deleted all the photos. Would you like me to do that? Otherwise, when you replace the default photos with your own photos the file size is likely to be smaller.
What do you mean it's corrupted? What happens when you try to download it? I just tried and was able to download and open it with no issues.
Well, that may help.
What i mean is that once it's downloaded it is very slow and then stops reacting, can't scroll etc.
and just freezes up.
I also can't view anything from you guys' amazon site where you have the demos to view.
Thanks Allison if you could delete the pics. If that doesn't help I'll see about tweaking t here.
Cheers
Hmm... that's weird. I just put all the photos in the master slide and deleted them from the slides and now it's less than 36 MB. Can you try downloading the new version (I replaced the old version) and let me know if that fixes the problem?
Just tried, it's still clunky and freezes up. Really bad, never had it happen before.
Never mind I'll spend some time on it later, see what's making it tick.
Same for me. I think it's just the size of the images which is causing this behaviour as deleting the images from the master slide speeds it right up. 👍🏼
Appreciate all your feedback on this because i couldn't even open the master slide before it froze up. That was my first idea as well. Would it have to do with my version of presenter ('13) or powerpoint (2013)?
Hmm... it might! I created this with PowerPoint 2016 and Presenter 360. Maybe try copying and pasting the slides into a new powerpoint presentation and see if that works? That has helped in the past when I've had issues.
Hi -- What animation is bringing in the information? I can populate with my pictures but cannot edit the information on the black and white pictures. What am I missing? Thanks.
Hi Catherine,
There is a transparent rectangle on top of each of the cards that serves as a button. Use the selection pane (see screenshot: http://drops.articulate.com/G5Ri3R ) to hide that button while you edit the text. Don't forget to make it visible again when you're done, or the button won't work.
HI Allison,
First, let me just say this PowerPoint is absolutely awesome. This is the most creative presentation of a team I've ever seen. You did a really great job here. I love it so I am trying to personalize it. I needed to add two more spots though. I got the linking within a document part but for some reason in slideshow, my added slots don't work the same way as the original ones. When I mouse over, I see that the others say they are linked to slide 1 when you are on the slide with the selected person. I think this is where I am lost. Can you explain how you did the linking so that you can pop around anywhere in slideshow mode? Thank you again.
Thanks Keema! I'm so glad you like it. The main hyperlinks are in the master slide. Then on the selected slide, I added a hyperlink on that character to return to Slide 1, which acts like a menu. That way, if the leaner clicks again on the same person again it "closes" that persons' description and brings them back to the menu. I hope that helps! Let me know if you're still struggling.
Der Keema,
This might help.
The linking is done with either hyperlinks or Actions, if you click on an object then go to the Insert tab, choose Action or hyperlink.
Either the object itself or a word or number inside a box can be hyperlinked so you have to choose which you want viewers to link to.
Cheers,
Leslie
This is AMAZING! The best Team example I have ever come across -- Modern, Professional and Eye-capturing! Thanks so much for sharing it with the community!
Allison - thank you I really like this! I am doing an elearning program and would like to add this to the beginning of the presentation.template that I downloaded for that. I am not able to move these slides or to cut and paste them into the other presentation. When I try to do this only the 1 picture of each person comes up on each slide and the animation doesn't work.
Is there something I should do differently or is this not possible?
Thank you so much. Kathy
Hi Kathy,
Hmm... that's odd! I have no idea why that's happening. Maybe it's not copying over the slide master? But you'd think that it would... have you tried copying the slide masters manually?
Hi Kathy,
I found this tutorial from Microsoft on how to do that: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/copy-and-paste-a-slide-master-from-one-presentation-to-another-ab99cf07-3a65-4f50-9d24-f17444a3df9b
