Here's a simple click-and-reveal interactive checklist project I created for you in PowerPoint. Although it's been built around the theme of real estate, you can easily customize it for almost any topic or industry.
Hi Janet. My apologies. I was transitioning to a new computer and must have grabbed an old version of the project file. I've just updated the download link to point to the correct version. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi Toni. I accidentally grabbed an old version of the file, but the download link should point you to the correct version now. I'm sorry for the confusion!
Love the concept. Word of advice, the clickable rectangles are behind the text boxes and the dark check-circle on the far left. This makes if difficult to find the clickable portion of each item.
To remedy, put a hotspot with the triggers over the entire rectangle, text, and circle. This will then make the entire area clickable, and prevent your learner from also having to play hide and seek with the buttons. :)
Sorry, I was using Storyline terminology.
In PowerPoint terms, put an identical rectangle in FRONT of each button and under Format Shape menu set the Transparency to 99% (I always worry that 100% transparency makes is un-clickable. This is probably a personal hold-out from older versions, but I do 99% to be safe.)
Hi Ava. Thanks for reaching out with your question. I made the clickable areas on the slides using the hyperlinks features in PowerPoint. I wrote an article on this a number of years ago. Although it's a little old, I think the basics are much the same! Here's a link if you'd like to check it out: https://community.articulate.com/articles/why-and-how-to-use-hyperlinks-in-powerpoint
I hope this helps you out! Best wishes on your project(s)!
