A great new feature in both Storyline 2 and Quizmaker '13 uses Microsoft Excel to create and upload quiz questions. That means you can have your client or subject matter expert create the questions for you. And all you'll need to do is import them. That's a big time saver. This Excel template allows you to easily collect questions from clients or SMEs and then directly import them into Storyline 2 or Quizmaker '13.
I cannot import your sample in Storyline 2.
When I select my Excel file and click on "Import", I get error messages starting with "Le format de la chaîne d'entrée est incorrect.", as I use Excel 2010 in French.
I have tried with Quizmaker 13 and the import works fine.
I tried text import with Storyline 2 and it works fine also, but I really would like to be able to use the Excel format, which is much more productive.
Please advise.
Solved (almost). This is due to the fact I use Storyline in French. When I swap to English, it works fine. This is a short term workaround I can live with.
Wow! This is very helpful. Thanks, Mike! By the way, here's the correct path for Mike's Blog Post:

I hope this helps.
Cheers!
weird bug, I would be spinning until I hit cntrl+alt+delete and selected the 'Microsoft Excel' program that was running and used 'End Process' on the program. As soon as I ended it, the spinning wheel stopped and I got a dialog box message and was able to troubleshoot my form and upload successfully. Very weird! I did just upgrade to update 5 - maybe it's a bug? 1505.515 is the v number
I am importing questions from Excel, but I do not want any question level feedback.
The instructions say you can enter feedbakc after a pipe ( | ). But what if I don't want any?
I have tried putting a pipe at the end of each line, and a pipe pluss a space, but still I get the default feedback for every question.
I've used this feature multiple times now and it's awesome! We're using these as weekly knowledge checks and I've had to manually change the attempts to unlimited for each question. It doesn't take too long, but if there's an automated way to do this I would love to know how. I've tried highlighting all the slides and then selecting unlimited, but it only changes the first slide. Can this be added to the template somehow? Has anyone figured out how to do this all at once?
