This handsome and functional tabs design was shared in this forum thread. There are six different tab layouts to choose from, featuring hover states and visited states on each, and pre-built slide layers for each tab's content.
Hi Matt,
I place the text boxes in the states section for the reasons you stated below. It also helps when you return to your slides to edit. However, you can’t add states to grouped objects; only single objects.
Thank you for your email! Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Sincerely,
M
OK I see, so if you wanted to have the text change on state change. Which is why it was not immediately obvious to me in this example because the only state that was being changed was the shape.
Thanks again Montse, and great work here!
Hi Patricia,
Thank you for the compliment!
Yes, you can add additional tabs.
You will need to resize the tabs to make room for additional tabs. Once you've added the extra tabs, be sure to add layers for each tab.
Please private message me your email and I will send you a detailed tutorial.
Thank you!
Hi Dianne -
You can right-click the file and select which version of Storyline you wish to use. The .story extension is the same for v1 and v2 so the latest version usually takes precedence.
