Thanks for the feedback, Danielle! I just included a link to the demo so you can see how it looks. :) Also added a link to the icon set that is used in the demo.
I am curious. I am new to the Articulate products. I am trying to customize this object to have quiz questions for each section. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how I might do so?
Nicole,
Nice example of how to use shapes in your reveal and then how to use animation for the effects.
I notice in your demo that the cursor does not turn into a hand when it is over the icons. What is the reason for that? Is it because they are an image and not a button? I always thought that as long as there was a trigger the cursor would change.
Thanks for sharing a nice looking storyline.
Hi Jeff! Thanks for the feedback, and for your comment. That IS a weird anomaly. When I open up the file in Storyline 2 and preview it, the preview DOES show the hand cursor on hover, which is the expected behaviour. Seems to be a weird one-off thing that is only appearing in the published output. You have a keen eye! :) One tip I can say is if for some reason you DON'T want the hand icon to show on hover, you can actually use a Hot Spot to create your link and you can right-click on the Hot Spot and deselect "show hand cursor on hover" and then it won't show it. Just a little tip! Thanks again for the comment.
Nicole,
I have been noticing that the Edge Browser does not always play back the older projects correctly in Windows 10. It has been driving me crazy as it is not consistent. I have set my preferences so Firefox is my default browser, but that does not always work either!
Thanks for the tip on Hot Spot, I did not know that. I have used Hot Spots to block access to video but did not look into other options. So much to learn so little time. :)
I used this with fabulous feedback in storyline 360....until a JAWS user attempted it. The "buttons" aren't buttons for the JAWS program. Any suggestions on getting this to work with JAWS in SL360?
