Storyline 1: Top Interactions Template - Downloads

The classic e-learning templates you loved in Storyline 1 are now available for your Storyline 2 projects.

Here’s what you can do to migrate Storyline 1 templates to your Storyline 2 software:

Download the zipped Storyline templates.
Extract to your local folder.
Double-click the .storytemplate file. When asked to upgrade, click Upgrade.
Wait for the upgrade to finish. The Top Interaction template drop down should now show in Storyline when you create a new slide.

Hello David, Thanks for the information. I downloaded the Zip file and then extracted the files. However when I double click on them, it asks which format do you want to open the files in. There is no format assigned to them. What do I do ? Regards Sumit

Hi Sumit, Do you have either Storyline 1 or Storyline 2 installed? Both file formats are in the .storytemplate format so they should be recognized by either version of Storyline. Can you confirm you have Storyline installed?

Hello David, Silly me.. I didn't know I have to import the files in to Storyline. I just did it and works perfectly well. Thanks a ton for the divine intervention. Regards Sumit

I am a total novice but I can't get this to show up as a template choice. WHen I import it it replaces my current format. I just want to be able to use them for one or two slides. When I add a new slide I have the choice of several templates but can't get this to be one of those choices. Help! working on a deadline

I'm getting the same response. Top interactions are uploading to the templates for drop-down selections. They keep importing as a full collection of slides. Why? What am I missing?
