I especially like the animation for each person--having the head change direction first, and a tiny delay before the arm-crossing pose makes it feel more alive instead of a flip between two static poses.
Hi Connor,
I'm at the office now but, look for layers on this demo. If I remember correctly, this is where you can change the text. In rare cases I use layers in the slide master too but, this doesn't feel like one of those.
I have the same question about how to edit. I only see two slides which doesn't include the slide with the characters (not on any slide layers, either). But when I preview it, I can see the interaction. Help?
Hi Courtney,
I looked into this and you would have click VIEW>Slide Master and select the top one. You'll find the characters and layers there. This was built at a time I was experimenting with interactions embedded as master layouts.
Alexander, what am I missing? I used the slide bar to pick Lucy. Then I clicked out to of the box and nothing happened. I also tried clicking on Lucy in the slide bar and in the main area and nothing.
Hi Kendra,
The interaction just shows a character intro and there's head and body movement when selected but, that's it. Are you able to set the slider to a character and see their intro?
I cannot get the slider to work once the course has been published. I have tried publishing in SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. Could it be because of flash? Any thoughts on why slider works in preview but not in published.
I am publishing to an LMS. Cornerstone OnDemand is the LMS . They seem to be there. I will try from the beginning again. Do I need to use a master slide or can I create it with just 2 slides with states and layers?
Hi Lea,
Luckily I'm a CSOD Administrator. I would check first that the course is not set for browser compatibility in the catalog. Compatibility should be set to "none". Another tip would be to test the course in SCORMCloud scorm.com which is a free testing LMS for SCORM courses.

Hi Alexander,
I really appreciate your assistance. I have attached the zipped file (Scorm 1.2). I hope to remove the “lucy”character – do not need her but afraid of messing up the rest of the training. Project is due Friday.

Thanks for sending the file. The greeting layer hides automatically but the audio you added goes for 17 seconds which makes the transition a bit long. Once the layer hides, the character select button becomes available.
