Thanks for the cool game.
After I downloaded the template and imported the it into a new Storyline file, I noticed while previewing the entire project that I the results slide doesn't appear after completing the matching. I just stay on the screen with a checkmark by each item. Not sure if something happened on import, or I imported it incorrectly. On the Insert Slides dialog, I selected all the available slides choose Insert into Scene Same as Imported Template.
Hi Tim,
You were right. This was because the demo was only design with one question draw. Therefore the previous template had too many slides and missing triggers to play out. I just removed them and update the template here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/building-better-courses/easter-eggspectakular-memory-freebie
Thanks for the updated template. I ended up getting the original template to work, after just changing the extension to .story. (Importing into a SL file was causing issues for some reason.)
The game, which I modified to reflect Halloween, was a big hit among patrons at our university's tech fair.
Thanks again for posting the template.
Hi Alexander. Thanks for uploading this entertaining template.
I hate to trouble you, but would you mind helping me with a small problem I'm having with it?
I've tried editing the states so they have different images for the 'selected' and 'disabled' states , but whenever I select two matching objects with these modified states (when the layer saying "Yay" is triggered to display), BOTH the selected and disabled states for the object are shown! Not just the disabled state.
I've only made modifications to the first slide, not the question banks, but I wouldn't think this would make a difference?
Again, sorry for imposing.
Found the answer, it's a glitch in Storyline2 (sorry, I mean "a characteristic").

I just need to make the objects in the different states identical excepting for a tick or similar. Ahhhh, another two hours gone.
