This super-cool download includes a menu that animates to reveal more nested choices. You can see the example in action here and get a detailed intro on how to build this cool effect in this how-to.
Great job Josh!
Amazing trick.
@Jeff: The download is a SL2 file.
Cheers!
PS: You can also remove the variables from the scene (as Jeff Kortenbosch said). Would increase the number of triggers no doubt. But worth it for a variable avoiding guy.
Will try out myself on that. (Another reason being that I work on SL1 :P )
You really inspired me Josh. I started working on this right away.
Here is the SL1 version. I removed the variables out of the picture.

My next task is to gamify them a bit. Unlock next topic only when previous topic is complete.
Will update soon on the same.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Cheers!
Ok, so completed the next task as well.
I have somewhat gamified the template. It unlocks next topic when previous topic is complete. This can be useful in creating back to back, or linked quizzes. It can also be modified to let the user earn various badges.
Since I haven't worked on gamification extensively, so could not put the theories into practice right away.

Hi Josh, Thanks so much for sharing.
I really like the relationship between the timing of the time line and the timing of the animation. I've never thought to play with that technique. Nicely done
