hello again...wondering if you could help me pls Trey. I have made some changes to the colour of my game board to blue but not sure why the first instruction slide and correct/incorrect slides are coming up as red.
I would like to attach my project for your review but not sure where to do attach file, it's not showing below.
Hi Nicole,
I enjoyed your gamification webinar today!! Thank you for teaching us how to create interactive modules. I learn by seeing and then doing; so by observing and taking notes I am sure I will be able to easily use variables, triggers, and layers. Thank you for the Jeopardy template!!
Hi Nicole, Thanks for sharing this quiz/jeopardy game. It was designed rather user friendly. If I want to set up triggers that require passing score to be met =/greater than, any advice for other scoring slides in other sections? Any caveats? It's okay to have multiple score slides that don't actually count toward the final quiz, correct? (In captivate, you could only use one score card within a module- so far as I know*) Thanks for this and any tips!
Hi everyone!
Thanks for sharing this awesome template. It worked very well for me!
I just have a question. Does anyone know how to remove sound effects after having questions correct or incorrect?
I already removed media from timeline and remove trigger on layer but I still can hear the sounds after answering the questions.
Hope someone can help me.
Greetings.
Hello! I understand this comment was from a couple of years ago. However, I ran across this thread today when I had a version of this same question, so maybe this can help the next person. If you are looking for the audio for cheering/booing that automatically plays after a correct/incorrect answer, that audio is on the timeline of the Feedback Master slides in this template (View/Feedback Master). There's one master slide for the correct answer feedback that has the cheering audio and another one for incorrect with the booing audio.
Hello, When I try to open the template, after downloading, I receive an error advising the file is corrupted? Anyone else get that? Is this still a good template?
I'd love to use it! It's so great!
hi Everyone... I am looking for a gaming template with following needs.
1. On click on the first textbox, where the person has to choose answer any one question, he will choose the question by clicking on the required box and will move to next slide containing causes.
2. To answer that question, he will to find causes. There will be 4 times number of causes for every question on the first slide. ( Ex: If he has 5 question in the 1st slide, he will have 20 causes)
We have to give marks for every right causes.
3. Once he chooses the 4 causes, he will move to other slide where there will be reason for those clauses. Again There will be 4 times the number of reason for every question, He will give the answer correctly to score the marks.
4. So in the end, for example.
he chose

question 1, where he gave 4 causes out of which 3 are right and one is wrong, he got 3 marks. post which when he will answer reason for that, he can score a max of 3 marks in the reason section. so the maximum marks will be 6.
On the Category question slides the font is faded. I have looked everywhere to find a way to adjust this so the questions are bright and not subdued. I can't find any way to reformat these so there must be something embedded in the programming? I would really love for these questions to be bright and not have a faded look.
Heinee - I think you encountered the same thing I did awhile back. Is it Just the 1st Category, 200 value, or all of the slides? Start the show, and pick something further down to see if it does it there.
If you'll go back through the discussion, the Category 1 200 value slide has an extra trigger that's pausing the timeline, causing the slide not fully fade in. It was never changed in the original download, but if you remove the pause timeline trigger, it'll fix it.
I don't believe we encountered that on any of the other slides.
First of all. Thank you for the very quick response. It was the pause timeline trigger. When I removed it the text all came up white. Thank you for troubleshooting and getting that figured out.
Hello - I'll be darned if I can find where-how to change the passing percentage that is supposedly staring me in the face on slide 1.2. When I go to edit the trigger for success or failure, I don't find a place to change the value. I see the equation of "if results.scorepoints >= variable results.passpoints but I cannot locate a value . If I try to edit the triggers, I can edit the conditions. I see project variables and I see built-in variables. I can choose them but how do I establish a value.
The dialogue here makes it sound as easy as editing, but I'm stuck trying to find this. Thanks.
HI Craig - on slide 1.2, click the Design Tab on the far right under Result Tools. This allows you to select which questions go into a result, and the passing percentage.
I think that's what you're looking for. If that doesn't do it, let me know and we'll see what else we can come up with.
Voila ! I kept reading to look for choices-option on the 'far right' which is where triggers and slide layers are. I never consider to look on the far right choice of the menu options at the top of the page. Now that I see it all, it is all coming into view now. Thank you for the help.
Craig D.
Thank you all for this awesome template. Question, is there a way to use the quiz question import excel template to quickly import our unique questions and answers into this template? Thanks
Taking a stab in the dark here with how old this is, but I have one problem I am hoping the group can assist with.
I have taken this program and used it as I needed, however I am struggling with getting the game board to reset upon a retake. I can get them back to the game board, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to trigger it to reset the buttons on a retake. Yes, I did increase the number of attempts to 2 and I did add a Try Again slide, which is working as expected.
Anyone have any ideas? This is literally the last thing I need to delivery it next week.
Hi Quentin. There is a "Restart Course" trigger, you just need to identify what will trigger it. For example, I have a "Restart Game" button on my results page and the trigger is "Restart Course when the user clicks Rectangle 2". Hope this helps.
I know the button of which you speak, the issue is I don’t want to make the user retake the entire course, only the quiz section. If I reset they are forced back to the top and that isn’t my goal. Thank you for taking the time to try thought, I do appreciate that. Currently I am trying the double quiz build and seeing if I can make that work.

I have taken the time to add some additional features such as:
Automatic team switching
Score board system
Daily Double Integration
It's not perfect, but should do the job: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1umPSskTUaesodBZcfRg6HIQtpabkHZEP/view?usp=sharing
