This delightful board game makes use of the random number variable and creates a "rolling the dice" effect with simple animations. Swap out the question text for your own to quickly update this fun board game template. Download the font (Delicious Adventure) to get this exact look-and-feel.
Great webinar as always! There were questions on how to make it so the generated numbers would not repeat for the rolls and that the disable state would change depending upon if the answer was correct or not. After some trial and error I was able to get it working so there are no repeat rolls.

Hi Nicole,
I only used triggers. There isn't a way to post an attachment here so I included the file for download here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/randomized-board-game-no-repeat-numbers-solution
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for this - It was the one question I had after watching the video. :D
Had a go to extend to 12 questions and results

Hi Saffron! You cannot attach an example to this thread but you can start a new discussion in the Building Better Courses forum and attach the file there, then leave the URL/link for that discussion here in the comments so people know how to find it. Hope that helps :)
I've had a go, it's not as pretty, but I've added a results slide on the end

I like it, but you should update it. It took me 2 minutes and 46 seconds to roll a three...the last question. Nobody wants to go through that just to finish. Maybe add variables to say they can't roll the same number again? Or something.
HI Ellyn - Try this one - it wont let you roll the same number twice

In the slide layers, I'd like to change the background colors. I believe I'm missing something easy (I'm new to Storyline!). I cannot find the object or master slide for these to change the color. What do I need to do?
Hi Cristina! You need to pop into the Feedback Master, which controls the background of Layers. On the Storyline ribbon click "View" then click on "Feedback Master". From there you can adjust the background colors that appear on the layers.
Hello! Is it possible to create the same interaction but with text instead of numbers? I'm trying to update it but get stuck when setting up the variable triggers to randomize the dice.
