This is gorgeous! But as a basic developer, I'm struggling to unpack all of the super cool functionality! Guess editing/reverse engineering it will make for good practice!
Ah I got it-click on Base Slide, click States, on the right side of the slide there's a text box, click on it and then edit States and it will let you customize the text.
I like the way you've used states on the explanation box rather than the layers. I never would have thought of doing it that way. I was expecting the text to be on each layer.
Hi Susan,
I think you mean that blue download button, right? The folks at Articulate insert that when they post a project so I'm not sure exactly how they make it happen.
Hi Jodi, can I please have a copy of the file too? I have been playing around with the colors in Storyline but it would be even better in Adobe Illustrator. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi All, Here is a download of the AI file I used to make this list. You can change the colors and the shadows in Illustrator. Good luck with it! https://jodisdemos.s3.amazonaws.com/Listicle+Art.ai
Hi. I want to use this but only need 5 or 6 blocks. I'm struggling to get to that stage. Would someone be able to send me a document with just 1 block and then I can see how it's built and then I can copy and paste for more blocks? Many thanks
Hi, how do you unlock slide properties on the last slide. I would like my last slide to go the next slide in my project, but am unable to display 'next' and 'previous' in slide properties.
Thank you
Hi Kashmir, This interaction only has one slide with 10 layers. To activate the next button on the player, make sure you are on the base slide, not a layer. Once you are on the base slide click on the small gear icon at at the bottom right corner of your screen. The slide properties menu will appear and you can check the boxes to show the next or previous buttons. Let me know if you need more help with that.
Hello Jodi,
I just love what you did, Thank you for sharing ! I would like very much to use your template but when I open it, I cannot see the calques and there is no way for me to change the text. Have you got any idea why ? I'm new at using articulate so maybe that the reason I cannot find the problem. Do you think that it's because I'm missing some fonts ?
