Comic book layouts are a fun way to jazz up an e-learning course. If you want to create a comic book style effect in Storyline, this pre-built template is just the ticket. Simply swap out the text and add your own images.
The font isn't installed in Storyline 2. You first have to follow the link I shared to download the font, and then install the font on your desktop (if you're using a PC, here's instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows-vista/install-or-uninstall-fonts) Once the font is installed, launch Storyline, and the font will be available in the fonts drop down. :) Hope this helps.
You can take almost any photo and tweak it in Photoshop to make it look like an old-school comic book. I got good results with this approach: http://pshero.com/photoshop-tutorials/photo-effects/comic-book-photo-effect
@Maryanne: in previous posts, I've shown how to create the comic segments. http://blogs.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/3-ways-to-make-your-e-learning-course-look-like-a-comic-book/
I also did a similar downloads on comic book panels a while back (but it is a PowerPoint file and not interactive like the one Nicole shares)

As far as graphics, even if you only have PowerPoint, you can create pretty decent comic style images. In fact, I just did this for a workshop last week (and have a blog post coming where I show how to do it).

That's fantastic, thank you! I'm creating an on-boarding demo for a course I'm taking and simply used one of the Articulate characters as my virtual HR assistant throughout the comic book panels but like the effects you have created.
